Dior Maison has presented a festive capsule. The release includes a set of Christmas ornaments and an Astro vase. They were created by the Italian artist Pietro Ruffo and the French craftsmen of the Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy, an enamelware company founded in 1798. Hypebeast writes about it.
This cream colored vase is made of clay and decorated with images of constellations. The drawing was first placed on the papyrus, and then, using a special technique, transferred to the surface of the vase.
The stars also appeared on the toys. For the creation of it, Dior resorted to a similar method and used enamel, paper and glass glaze.
Previously, Dior Maison launched a collection of outdoor furniture, which included a chair and a table. French designer Sam Baron worked on its creation. The design of the chair refers to the Miss Dior medallion chair, which is considered one of the symbols of the brand.
