Literally the next day, the head of the region outlined the problem that worries the close fighters at a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Nikolai Pankov. Dmitry Azarov discussed with the deputy head of the Russian military department the problems of specific fighters, conveyed the appeals of the wives of the 43rd regiment, including those related to the provision of vacations to fighters. Thanks to the efforts of Dmitry Azarov, the Ministry of Defense took control of the situation, and the problem was resolved. Fighters from the Samara region, who served in the 43 regiment, began to be sent on vacation. The first of them has already come home for a visit.
– I am very grateful to the Ministry of Defense. I managed to convey to the Deputy Minister of Defense the concern of the families of the military, we discussed this issue, and the first soldiers of the 43 regiment arrive in the Samara region on vacation. I hope that this rotation will be regular, as expected, – said Dmitry Azarov.
One of the vacationers, Sergey, is a taekwondo coach in Novokuibyshevsk, he works with children and adolescents, teaching them martial arts and instilling in them the principles of a healthy lifestyle. His students are winners and laureates of various contests. In the fall of last year, Sergei went to the NVO to defend his homeland. After training, he was sent as part of the 43rd regiment “for the belt”, where he served his military duty for the past six months. At home his wife and his little son Misha were waiting for him.
– We were very worried and surprised, but all this time we did not see each other, – says the wife of the soldier Maria.
– We were not allowed to go on vacation for a long time, but literally in one moment everything changed. They told us that they were starting to send us on vacation. Of course, this is a long-awaited event for me, – said the military man Sergei. – In plans – to see relatives, friends, my student-athletes. I missed everyone. Of course, I will spend some time on the Volga and in nature to remember what it is like to relax.
Since the arrival home of the defender of the Fatherland, his family is filled with joyful emotions. – Finally, we wait! This is very exciting for us, we are very happy with this development of the event!”, – admits the wife of the military man.
It should be noted that Governor Dmitry Azarov has been in contact with the fighters and their families since the first days of the special military operation. The head of the region regularly visits the NWO area and meets with the military to find out what kind of assistance they and their families need.
