The American actor of Swedish origin Dolph Lundgren will star in the new spin-off of the television series The Witcher. The project, codenamed Riff Raff (“Rats”), is currently filming in South Africa. This was reported by the Redanian Intelligence portal.
Lundgren played a key role in the series. It is not specified who exactly the actor plays. The new show follows a group of teenagers who are victims of Nilfgaard’s war to conquer the continent. Their paths must cross with Ciri in the finale of the third season of The Witcher.
The spin-off will tell about the events that preceded the plot of the main series. From him you can learn about the history of the teenage gang. Ciri will only appear on the show in a cameo. The central characters will be six teenage thieves who conceived their biggest robbery. According to the plot, they were going to rob the most dangerous criminal gang in the kingdom.
The post suggests that Lundgren could land the role of evil mercenary Leo Bonhart, the leader of the very dangerous group the young heroes will face. If so, then Lundgren will most likely appear in The Witcher as well.
