The Julia Fom brand and the musician Dolphin have launched a capsule collection. The line includes six accessories: a shopper, a card holder, a backpack and bags of three types: waist, over the shoulder and on a strap to be carried by hand. The range of the collection is black and white. It is both a symbol of balance and a marker of time: sunlight is able to break through even the darkest moments.
“When you start to think in black and white, you immediately fall into the trap of stereotypes: first chess, the keys, the piano, yin and yang, night and day… Then evil-good, life-death, friend-enemy, etc. But fortunately we are much more complicated. In each of us there is no definite black or infinite white. We always fall. We fall into endless darkness… And only sometimes do we manage to ascend to the light we so desire. It will always be like this”, says the concept of the Delfín line.
Each item is made of leather and processed using a special technique. The material is soaked for a day in a special solution and then manually wrinkled to leave creases and pits resembling scars in the skin. This is how the designer gives things a unique texture and conveys the main principle of the brand: things have their own history, so any new wear is not a problem, but a memory notch that only visually enhances the article.
The collection is available on the brand’s website as well as offline.
Let’s remember that on March 17, Andrey Lysikov, known as Dolphin, presented an album called “Farewell to Arms”, inspired by the novel of the same name by the writer Ernest Hemingway. Already on April 7, on the stage of the VK Stadium, we will be able to listen to compositions from the new album, as well as the old hits of the musician. On the eve of the concert, we talked with Andrey about music, a favorite author and love. Read the link.
