Joe Biden is under attack

Joe Biden received two legal “blows” in just 48 hours that will surely affect the US presidential race. First, a formal impeachment investigation was launched in the country’s Republican-controlled House of Representatives, who was accused of benefiting from the business connections of his son Hunter. And two days later, Hunter himself was charged with perjury and illegal weapons possession.
Now Biden Jr. actually faces up to 10 years in prison and a hefty fine. Biden Sr. should not seriously fear being removed from office; There have been no such precedents in American history, except for Nixon, who resigned the presidency after being impeached of his own free will. The current occupant of the White House may, if his physical and mental health allows it, survive until the end of his current term. But it is most likely that he will never see a new mandate, which he and his party so sought. Because the “double blow” to both Bidens is something too serious to be considered a mere coincidence.
There have been cases in United States history where the country’s president was appointed by the court based on election results. But this was after the vote: in 2000, it was by decision of the country’s Supreme Court that the manual counting of votes in the state of Florida was stopped and, as a result, Bush Jr. was declared the winner. And now we are seeing how, with the help of the courts, Democrats and Republicans are trying to influence the upcoming elections. First of all, thanks to the efforts of Biden and his party, up to four lawsuits, including criminal ones, were filed against former President Donald Trump, who seeks revenge for the loss of the 2020 elections. The objective was obvious: to use legal pressure to eliminate a serious competitor from the electoral race. The result was unexpected: the politician, persecuted by the authorities, caused a powerful wave of sympathy among ordinary Americans, which also affected a significant replenishment of Trump’s electoral wallet.
And now the Republicans are fighting back? At first glance yes. But something suggests that the main decisions and subsequent actions are being taken “under the rug” of the American legal system, which, as we know, is the fairest in the world. The quasi-judicial passions surrounding Hunter have lasted more than three years, but they have not prevented his father from occupying the White House. Partly because they wreaked havoc on the periphery of the media and the American mainstream media didn’t “take notice.” Then there was the murky procedure of a “judicial agreement” with his son to protect herself from the threat of real lawsuits on his part and, of course, the good name of his father. But in July everything fell apart. But in September they filed charges, and even immediately after Congress began to worry about Biden Sr.’s impeachment.
There are already claims in the American press that the current administration is not putting any pressure on legal authorities, and it is unlikely that Republicans will “dig up” anything worthwhile against Biden. What, it seems, is there to fear? But it turns out it’s still scary. And not for Trump, but, as the British newspaper The Telegraph states, for the entire West.
From here, as they say, in more detail. To start: “Biden (or his closest allies) is trampling on the rule of law in the United States and allowing critics to call the entire West deeply hypocritical and deceitful.” He’s picky. But this is just the beginning, we read more: “The Biden administration is abusing his power by trying to destroy Trump with the help of the Department of Justice. Who should be president is decided by elections, not by judicial processes. “The United States is becoming a kind of banana republic, where all previous rulers are judged for actions committed while they were in power.”
“Banana Rebublic”! On the part of the Anglo-Saxon brothers, no one has “thrown this at the Americans.” Besides. “What is most disgusting,” writes a writer for The Telegraph, “is that today’s US election is based on a fundamental falsehood: the claim that, if re-elected next year, Biden will be president until 2028.” And then comes a pure medical diagnosis. Let’s take a closer look: “If you look at the speed with which this man is aging and becoming decrepit, it is clear that he can remain in the White House for at most a couple more years.” Let us remember that it is not Moscow that is slandering, but the frightened friends of London who are horrified.
Whats Next? By 2025 at the latest, if Biden suddenly walks away, the author warns, even the most doubtful now in the United States will be forced to admit “that the game is over.” And the decrepit president will be forced to resign. Current Vice President Kamala Harris will become president and lead the country for two to three years. But we should not expect anything good from her leadership either; What’s more, “as president, Harris will be even worse than Biden.” Where is the exit? “It would be much better to end this farce right now. “Biden must announce that he will not participate in the race,” the British newspaper harshly concludes.
And then the synchronized accusations against Biden’s father and son become immediately clear. With such legal “chains” on his feet, the father, who has conspired since his old age, has no chance in the electoral race. Therefore, in the name of the United States! -Let him go alone. And in the name of the entire West! These lines cannot be read without a deep feeling of compassion: “The rest of the democratic world needs the United States as a guide, and so we watch with despair the slow but inexorable decline of its political culture.”
No, but that’s what it seems: “the slow but inexorable decline and extinction of the banana republic.” Damn! And from London too…
