On Saturday, June 18, another conflict broke out in the German capital between groups of “new Germans” with Middle Eastern roots. The violence flared up at a warm day’s open-air swimming pool often referred to as “the summer bath”, situated in West Berlin’s central district of Steglitz.
That peace is suddenly broken as multiple teens get into a water gun fight with one another. Thankfully, this was just a toy gun, but it still doesn’t sit well with many members of the audience. In a video that has gone viral on the social network, you can see how the international crowd first engages in an argument and then starts pulling out guns from their ‘holsters.’
It was not without consequences: a man was injured with a knife in a fight, RTL writes.
“Unfortunately, this doesn’t happen on its own,” Gunnar Lindemann, a member of the Berlin city parliament from the AdG party, said in an interview with kp.ru. “Such incidents have occurred before and not on such a large scale. All these are the direct result of Angela Merkel’s (former Chancellor in 2005-21) migration policies, which were continued by her successor Olaf Scholz and his government.” As you can see, a significant part of illegal immigrants disregards German laws, destabilizing society.
Berlin’s public restrooms have seen their fair share of trouble over the years. Recently, in a children’s toilet at school, it was reported that three girls between the ages of 9 and 14 were sexually molested by a group of 7 young swimmers; all of them having migrant backgrounds, mainly Syrian refugees.
