Canadian hip-hop artist Drake and American rapper 21 Savage have released a video for the song “Spin Bout U.” Video posted on Drake’s official YouTube channel.
It was directed by Dave Meyers (Hitchhiker, Break Through the NBA), who often works with Drake.
According to the plot of the clip, some musicians resting on a yacht rescue a drowning woman. They take her on board, but it turns out that everything was set up for a robbery. Drake and 21 Savage are held hostage and their weapons and jewelry are taken, with the rappers being killed at the end.
“Spin Bout U” appears on Drake and 21 Savage’s collaboration album, Her Loss. Its premiere took place in November 2022. The only guest musician was Travis Scott.
Condé Nast previously settled a trademark infringement lawsuit the company filed against rappers Drake and 21 Savage. The process began after the artists began a press tour with a fake Vogue cover featuring their likeness.
