Dries Van Noten, men’s fall-winter 2023 collection

The centerpiece of the new Dries Van Noten collection are the coats: double-breasted to the floor, slouchy options with botanical prints in wool, authentic peacoats. This perfect severity was diluted with lace turtlenecks, shirts and jackets with sketches by the naturalist Alexander von Humboldt, transparent blouses embroidered with crystals and beads. The jersey is fine, in flesh tones, the silk is washed and re-dyed, there is a lot of embroidery and knitting. The show took place in a parking lot in the 11th arrondissement with a performance by the Belgian duo Lander & Adriaan, and several items from the collection also turned out to be very crazy: this is cargo in a shade of purple, large down jackets with optical patterns and pants with three belts at once.
