Meanwhile, the first well exceeded the mark of 160 meters (out of 262 needed), the second – 62 (out of 205). A fourth rig arrived on site to drill an additional well.
At a CoES meeting, chaired by regional governor Vasili Orlov, it was reported that 63 cubic meters of soil were removed from the rubble overnight and that 50 percent of the concrete was poured into one of the three waterproof lintels.
