Santa Claus fell into the category of working retirees, so his pension will not be indexed. He, too, cannot count on state support in the form of additional payments up to the subsistence level. The only allowance he can claim is for his granddaughter Snegurochka, if she is not yet 18 years old.
Girinsky recalled that the funded part of the pension was frozen until 2024. “Although, due to the indefinite age and the year of birth of Santa Claus, this does not matter much,” the Prime agency quotes the expert.
