Eggs, sausages, vodka and plane tickets have gone up in price: prices calculated by Rosstat for the past week

The index fell, but some prices rose. This time, chicken eggs were the ones that rose the most in value. According to Rosstat, in 71 Russian regions – by 0.1-4.2%. Vegetables also rose in price, by an average of 1.2%. But this is where seasonality comes into play. Last week, the record was held by onion, which added almost 7% (for more details, see “Just numbers”), and tomato (+4%). On the other hand, cucumbers decreased by 2.1% and white cabbage, by 0.8%.

At the same time, prices decreased: wheat flour and pasta – 0.7%, buckwheat and noodles – 0.5%, chicken meat, boiled sausages, sterilized milk, black tea – 0.4%, sunflower butter and rice – 0.3%. , frozen fish, sour cream, milk powder mixes for baby food, cookies – by 0.2%, beef, lamb, butter, salt – by 0.1%.

If we talk about medicines, domestic analgin became more expensive by 0.4%, while Corvalol and Ergoferon decreased by 0.5%.

What other thing? Dry pet food, matches, laundry soap and baby diapers also increased in price, but not significantly: no more than 0.4%. But powder detergents, toothpastes, toilet paper and sanitary napkins have fallen slightly in price.

Motor gasoline prices were broadly unchanged, while diesel fuel prices fell 0.2%.

Airline tickets increased by 5.5%. This was affected by the demand, many people bought plane tickets last week to fly during the holidays.

What to expect? Spring is just around the corner, which means that fruits and vegetables will go even higher in price. The dollar exchange rate is rising, this will also affect the price increase.
