The consequences of the coronavirus, when concerts were canceled one after another, our artists continue to rake. So, Grigory Leps is suing the Kremlin Palace, which is trying to recover 2 million rubles for an interrupted concert, rapper Eldzhey unsuccessfully demands 9 million for interrupted tours … And now Yegor Creed had to answer in court. The case was considered for six months, and the other day the Moscow Arbitration Court finally made a decision that was not in favor of the singer.

Last summer, Creed was supposed to perform at the Yalta restaurant “Seagull on the Beach”. The concert was scheduled for July but due to covid restrictions the show had to be cancelled. That’s just the advance received, 1 million 134 thousand rubles, the rapper did not return.

– As soon as the corresponding decree of the head of the republic was issued, we immediately warned the singer’s managers about the cancellation of the event, – the Crimean organizers said last year. – They wanted to settle the matter amicably, but it did not work out. Yegor Creed did not want to return the money. We decided to go to court. But the singer filed a lawsuit for a similar amount.

While the process was going on, Creed managed to leave for Dubai and the Crimean defendants were not eager to go to Moscow to sue. Several letters arrived at the judicial headquarters with the request to hold a meeting by videoconference, which delayed the process. But in the end, all the participants had to come personally to the meeting room.

On April 22, the court ruled: now Creed must return to the organizers the unworked advance payment, or rather, “unjust enrichment” in the amount of 1 million 134 thousand rubles plus interest for using other people’s money: another 14 thousand.

– The decision has not yet entered into force. There are different options. We do not rule out that we will file an appeal, the manager of Yegor Creed briefly explained to kp.ru.
