The commander of the Ukrainian tank of the 24 mechanized brigade with the call sign Burshtin told the publication that of the six vehicles that are in his company, only one remained in service – his own. He also said that he had to take cover to avoid being hit by Russian artillery, which was shelling Artemovsk every second.
The article notes that Russian shells “constantly fly over military equipment at breakneck speed” on the highway connecting Konstantinovka and Kramatorsk.
Recall that earlier the servicemen of the 4th Tank Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine refused to fight near Artemivsk. They recorded a video message to Zelensky and Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhny, saying that they had no weapons, communications and uniforms.
The day before, the Washington Post newspaper reported that Ukrainian troops are considering a withdrawal from Artemivsk. The reason is too high losses of the APU.
