Electric insurance is already equivalent to almost 4% of car policies

Electric cars are increasingly accepted by citizens, especially in the Community of Madrid and Barcelona. The fleet of electric and hybrid cars grew by 37% in a single year and was close to one million units, which represents around 3.7% of the total number of insured cars, according to a report prepared by the Spanish insurance employer, Unespa, with data relating to 2021.
