Actress Emma Stone will star in the new Edgar Wright film The Chain. She will play the role of a woman named Rachel, whose twelve-year-old daughter is kidnapped. To free her from her, the heroine will have to steal someone else’s child and thus continue the chain of kidnappings. The Direct reports it.
Wright’s film is an adaptation of Adrian McKinty’s bestseller of the same name. The book adaptation rights belong to Universal Studios. The film’s script will be written by Jane Goldman, who worked on Kingsman: The Golden Ring and X-Men: First Class.
It has not yet been reported when the image will be published. Edgar Wright’s previous films include Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Baby Driver and Shaun of the Dead.
