The Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations this afternoon closed an agreement with the unions to improve the workforce and the Social Security care services and create, immediately, the State Social Security Agency. This agreement entails the cancellation of the strike announced by CCOO and CSIF for next September 7 in all Social Security centers, according to union sources reported to Europa Press.
The agreement contemplates the implementation of one day of teleworking per week from July 1, 2023, which will be extended to two in 2024. Social Security workers may benefit from teleworking, provided that their tasks are susceptible to it, with voluntary nature and guaranteeing the adequate provision of public service, especially attention to citizens.
Job letters will be evaluated
As the unions have advanced, the Government also undertakes to carry out a study of the different models of productivity, taking into account the workloads supported by the Social Security staff. In any case, the new model will value effort, personal dedication and compliance with the objectives proposed for each management and/or collection unit.
It also includes the creation of the Social Security Administration Agency, the creation of the Social Security School will be promoted, and the Provincial Health and Safety Committees will be promoted until they are integrated into a single committee in each territory.
