The FCC construction company makes changes to its dome. As main additions, the company controlled by the Mexican magnate Carlos Slim has appointed Esther Koplowitz as first vice president of its board of directors and Alejandro Aboumrad as vice president and president of the Executive Commission.
In addition, it has been announced that FCC has accepted the resignation of Alfonso Salem, Carlos Slim’s nephew, as a member of the company’s board of directors. After the shareholders’ meeting held on Wednesday afternoon, FCC’s board of directors, controlled by Slim, followed the changes in the vice-presidencies.
Gerardo Kuri will also form part of the Executive Commission. The FCC board also appointed Manuel Gil as Chairman of the Appointments and Remuneration Committee and Álvaro Vazquez de Lapuerta as Chairman of the Audit and Control Committee.
FCC tests the annual accounts
These decisions have been announced one day after the General Shareholders’ Meeting, where the annual accounts and management reports corresponding to the 2022 financial year were approved, as well as all the items included on the agenda. The event was chaired by Esther Alcocer Koplowitz, president of the FCC Group, and by Pablo Colio Abril, CEO of the company.
