Occasionally, the European EuroMillions draw makes certain special and millionaire prizes that will achieve numerous winners. For example, Big Friday or Superdraw, as it is known in Spain, is launched on occasional dates and works under the same rules as the rest of the usual draws, however, the difference is that in this case it guarantees huge nine-figure jackpots, regardless of whether or not the jackpot was won in the previous draw.
Another one of those special raffles is the Rain of Millions, which was originally held every two years. This is a draw for 100 prizes of one million euros that are associated with the well-known additional draw ‘El Millón’. The previous draws were in 2016 and 2018, while none were found during the pandemic. Last year it was played on January 21 and there were up to 18 codes validated throughout Spain.
This year it is celebrated again and it falls precisely on the next Friday, February 3. On this first Friday of the month, players will be able to access one of the 100 additional prizes worth one million euros that will be distributed among all EuroMillions participants who have purchased a ticket.
How to participate in the EuroMillions Rain of Millions?
In order to acquire a ticket for this additional European draw, it is not necessary to do anything different from the previous ones. Just buying a normal EuroMillions bet, the ticket will already include an additional participation code for the Rain of Millions.
Although the type of draw is very similar to the classic ‘El Millón’ that is played every Tuesday and Friday, it is important to remember that the codes for both prizes will be different. The draw for the Rain of Millions consists of selecting one of the 100 codes that are awarded with one million euros.
It is a combination of five numbers and four letters, which must fully match one of the winning codes. In the case of Spain, the first letter will always be E, since they correspond to the country.
