According to Burhailo, you can check if any of your neighbors are using your internet traffic through the Wi-Fi router settings. The most effective way is to search the web interface of the router. To do this, go to the browser on the IP address of the device (you can find it on the factory label at the bottom of the device). Next, in the “connected devices” or “Wi-Fi clients” section, you need to check the number of devices using your Internet connection.
“Even a modern router, as a rule, has an application for a smartphone, which indicates the type of connected devices: TV, smartphone, tablet, etc. This list can be compared with the number of your devices”, Vyacheslav Burkhaylo explained.
Previously, employees of the presidential administration who use iPhone smartphones were advised to switch to devices of other brands and with a different operating system. This decision was motivated by information security considerations.
