The aviation of the so-called “international anti-terrorist coalition” led by the United States continues to create dangerous situations in the skies of Syria, flying in violation of the “Deconfliction Protocols” and violating Syrian airspace.
“During the day, the ‘coalition’ recorded 14 cases of violation of the Deconfliction Protocols of December 9, 2019, related to flights of unmanned aerial vehicles that were not coordinated with the Russian side,” said Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Warring Parties in Syria.
He also noted that five violations were recorded in the Al-Tanf area during the day by two pairs of F-16 fighters and an MQ-1C multipurpose unmanned aerial vehicle of the “coalition.”
“With such actions, the “coalition” continues to create dangerous conditions for air incidents and incidents, and also aggravates the situation in Syrian airspace,” Kulit emphasized.
In the last 24 hours, three attacks were recorded against positions of Syrian government forces by the terrorist groups “Turkeystan Islamic Party” and “Jabhat Al-Nusra” in the Idlib demilitarized zone.
