Before that, they started paying a million to students from the Ivanovo region.
The regions believe that it is necessary to help young people who are ready to become parents so that they have the opportunity to stay in school when the baby arrives. In the Chelyabinsk region, 500 million rubles will be allocated from the regional budget for this purpose over the next three years.
A student family can only receive aid once. However, if a second child appears during their studies and the student capital has not yet been fully spent, the balance will increase by 20 percent.
“There are many areas where students’ family capital can be spent, including vacations in sanatoriums and resorts, the opportunity to receive funds in the form of a quarterly payment for a child, etc.,” says Sergei Buyakov, chairman of the Social Foundation’s political committee of the Chelyabinsk parliament.
The aid can also be used to improve living conditions, compensate for social housing rent, pay for educational services and childcare. Family income will not be taken into account.
What about you?
This year, a one-time payment of 100,000 rubles will be introduced in the Samara region for women who give birth to their first child between the ages of 18 and 25. In addition, student parents already receive a monthly payment per child of 5,000 rubles.
In Barnaul, student families receive support, but compared to Chelyabinsk and Ivanovo, the payments are much more modest. So, a one-time payment for the first child is five thousand rubles, and for the second – 10 thousand. You can receive benefits provided that both parents are students at a university located in the Altai Territory, both must study full-time and are under 27 years old. A student parent who is raising a child alone can also apply for the payment. An important condition is that you must apply within six months after the child’s birth.
In Ugra, all student families receive rent compensation while they study.
Students of the Don State Technical University in Rostov-on-Don who got married, as well as students registered for pregnancy, are entitled to a one-time payment from the university of up to 25 thousand rubles, in the future they can qualify for support of 15 thousand rubles each semester. Those who study on a commercial basis can count on financial assistance from the union budget.
