In the official account of the series “Fargo” the release date of the fifth season appeared. The premiere of the continuation of the show will take place on November 21. The action of the new season will take place in 2019 in the states of Minnesota and North Dakota.
The plot will focus on two questions: “When is the kidnapping of a child not considered kidnapping?” and “What if your wife is not your wife?” Season 5 will follow North Dakota Sheriff Roy Tillman in pursuit of a girl named Dorothy. She’s just a housewife, but with a dark past that’s about to take over.
Starring Jon Hamm, Juno Temple and Jennifer Jason Leigh. Series creator Noah Hawley returned to work on the script. Fargo is based on the Coen brothers’ film of the same name. Each season of the project has a standalone story with action in and around Minnesota, as well as a completely new cast.
Joe Keery, best known for playing Steve Harrington on the Netflix series Stranger Things, will star in the fifth season of Fargo. He will play a character named Gator Tillman. We talk about it in more detail here.
