Fear of God and Birkenstock have presented their first collaborative collection. The brands have created the new Los Feliz sandals, named after one of the districts of Los Angeles. Hypebae writes about it.
The Fear of God/Birkenstock collaboration features a soft, anatomical cork and latex footbed with a suede finish. The sole is presented with raw edges and a strap closure completes the minimalist aesthetic.
“We are always trying to create a product based on functionality and necessity, preceded by a clear aesthetic point of view,” said Fear of God founder Jerry Lorenzo.
Los Feliz sandals are available in adult and child sizes. The shoe comes in multiple colors and two different uppers: suede and wool felt.
Previously, Birkenstock presented a new autumn-winter collection. Especially for her, the Californian artist Vince Skelly reimagined the classic models of the Arizona and Boston brand.
