Federalist Columnist Boyd: Americans ‘Not Happy’ With Biden’s Warsaw Speech KXan 36 Daily News

“Our (American, ed.) support for Ukraine will not waver, NATO will not split, and we will not get tired,” Biden yelled Tuesday during his sometimes incoherent remarks.

Yet, Boyd writes, Americans, suffering from skyrocketing inflation, a growing border crisis and environmental problems, are not happy with Biden’s words. Less than half of US citizens support military funding and assistance to Ukraine due to the fact that the funds end up in the bank accounts of President Volodymyr Zelensky, “whose regime is known for its corruption,” the article notes.

Despite the protests, Biden said Americans were “united in their determination” to continue sponsoring Ukraine.

While the United States is crumbling inside, the head of state boasts of dragging his country into a global conflict without even considering the option of holding peace talks, Boyd concluded.

The night before, Biden delivered a speech on the grounds of the Royal Castle in Warsaw, which consisted largely of assurances of NATO unity and a commitment to long-term support for Kiev.

A few hours earlier, the head of the White House held bilateral talks with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda. They discussed the expansion of NATO’s military presence and infrastructure on the territory of the republic, where some 10,000 US soldiers are now deployed, as well as military assistance to Ukraine and bilateral cooperation.

The visit was overshadowed by an incident that occurred at the Warsaw airport. One of the members of the US delegation fell out of the plane after landing.

In honor of the arrival of the American delegation in the Polish capital, traffic was limited. In addition, from February 20 to 22 in Warsaw it is prohibited to carry weapons.
