Filming for the third season of HBO’s Euphoria will begin next month. The new episodes will be released in 2024. Hypebae writes about it.
The show was renewed for a third season a year ago, around the same time the second season finale aired.
Commenting on this, Francesca Orsi, HBO’s Executive Vice President of Programming, said: “Sam Levinson, Zendaya and the entire cast and crew of Euphoria have taken Season 2 to incredible heights, challenging conventions and conventional storytelling forms. We are honored to work with this talented and incredibly talented team, and we are thrilled to continue our journey with them in Season 3.”
The cast includes Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demi, Sydney Sweeney, Maud Apatow, Jacob Elordi, and Angus Cloud. For the role of her, Zendaya received two Emmy Awards in the category “Best Actress in a Television Drama Series”, Golden Globe Awards and Critics’ Choice Television Awards.
Euphoria is based on the Israeli miniseries of the same name created by Ron Leshem and Daphne Levine. Sam Levinson wrote and directed the new version.
Earlier, actress Barbie Ferreira announced that she would not reprise the role of Kat in the third season of the series “Euphoria.” The reason for the actress’s departure did not explain. However, for a long time there have been rumors among fans of the series that after the filming of the second season, the actress had a falling out with series creator Sam Levinson due to “the lack of growth and development of her character”.
