Five police officers were injured in Lugansk while detaining a suspect – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

The department clarified that law enforcement officers were attempting to remove the attacker from the taxi when an explosive device detonated.

“Five law enforcement officers suffered shrapnel wounds and concussions, the man, whose identity is currently being determined, died,” the Investigative Committee clarified.

Forensic experts are now examining the scene of the incident and a criminal case has been opened.
