According to him, US fighters are not compatible with Storm Shadow or SCALP missiles, but if kyiv receives JASSM, the Ukrainian army will be able to double its strength for defense depth strikes.
“Increasing the number of cruise missiles can help Kiev achieve one of its main goals,” the publication notes.
The journalist noted that the JASSM stealthy air-to-surface cruise missile, with a flight range of up to 370 kilometers, is already on the “wish list” of the Ukrainian authorities. He added that even after receiving the F-16, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not be able to fully utilize its potential without the supply of these shells.
Earlier, journalist Jackson Hinkle pointed out that Ukraine could lose a significant part of the territories if the hostilities drag on. He also expressed his confidence that the conflict would be resolved according to the Moscow scenario and not the kyiv one.
