The Foreign Ministry stressed that any action threatening Russian peacekeepers in Transnistria will be considered as an attack on the Russian Federation.
At the same time, it is also noted that our country is in favor of resolving any issue over Pridnestrovie through political and diplomatic means.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that kyiv was preparing a provocation against Pridnestrovie. It was pointed out that, as a pretext for the invasion, kyiv plans to carry out an alleged offensive of the Russian army from the territory of Transnistria.
The Russian Defense Ministry declared its readiness to respond to any changes in the situation on the border between Ukraine and Pridnestrovie.
