This is not even close to the case, the expert stressed. Furthermore, he added, Russia’s military potential, on the contrary, has grown.
Schafer added that the policy of the US authorities is based on emotions, not facts. At the same time, the American establishment would rather send the entire country to war over a lie than accept the truth, the former intelligence officer concluded.
