It is reported that the former Bangladeshi Cabinet member was planning to flee to India, but due to his arrest his plans failed. According to the Dhaka Tribune, the former official, who was planning to fly to New Delhi, was stopped by airport officials and employees.
Recall that Palak served as Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology in the country’s government.
Earlier, Bangladeshi President Shahabuddin Chuppu decided to dissolve the country’s parliament to form an interim cabinet in connection with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s flight from the country.
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Police Association announced it had launched an indefinite strike due to increased attacks on law enforcement personnel following Hasina’s escape.
