Kissinger said that such a conflict could occur between the United States and China. According to him, the economic potential of both states is approximately the same, which is strikingly different from the previous “cold” times. The highly experienced politician, who will turn 100 at the end of May, stressed that Washington and Beijing are antagonistic. In this sense, Kissinger pointed out that one should not “wait for the People’s Republic of China to become Westernized.”
Recall that earlier Kissinger changed his view on Ukraine’s NATO membership. According to him, over time, kyiv will have to become a member of the alliance.
