According to preliminary data from the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Sverdlovsk region, two passengers of public transport – the driver and the passenger of the vehicle – were taken to the hospital immediately after the accident. Five more passengers on the bus subsequently sought medical attention.
At the time of the emergency, there were ten passengers on board the bus (which was traveling on route 110 Novoutkinsk – Pervouralsk).
“Due to an accident, a reversal has been organised on this section of the road,” the traffic police said. They are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
