According to the press service of the FSB regional department, in Petropavlovsk, the defendants agreed to act together: they got into a freight car traveling from Omsk to Chelyabinsk.
They almost managed to carry out their plan – they crossed the state border, but almost immediately they were detained by officers of the FSB border department in the Kurgan and Tyumen regions.
– It turned out that a foreigner had been repeatedly prosecuted for crimes related to property, – specified the law enforcement department.
A criminal case has been initiated under article 322 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The detainees were taken into custody. They face up to six years in prison.
