Earlier, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that the German armed forces would not be able to defend themselves in the event of an enemy attack. He also acknowledged that the Bundeswehr cannot protect either NATO allies or its own citizens, and called for the situation to be rectified, the Bild newspaper wrote.
Western media have repeatedly discussed the state of the German Armed Forces, describing it as deplorable. At the same time, Germany is one of Ukraine’s most active arms suppliers.
