Variety has published a list of the worst movies of 2022 according to film critics.
So, Owen Gleiberman selected five paintings: “Minions: Gruvitation” by Kyle Bald, “Inflammatory Eyes” by Keith Thomas, “Three Thousand Years of Desire” by George Miller, “Amsterdam” by David Owen Russell and “Entirely and Completely”. by Luca Guadagnino.
The critic calls the last film boring (“in fact, almost nothing happens for two hours and 10 minutes”), and its script is weak (“there are huge holes in Chalamet’s jeans, exposing the bones, just like in the script itself). And Gleiberman characterizes “Amsterdam” as “irritating,” “in love with itself,” and “paralyzing.”
On top of Peter Debruge – “Spiderhead” by Joseph Kosinski, “Bubble” by Judd Apatow, “Code 355” by Simon Kinberg, “Big Bug” by Jean-Pierre Genet and “Blonde” by Andrew Dominic. The film with Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe, according to Debruge, turned out to be one-sided, “reducing this complex and unknowable woman to victim status.”
Recall that the IMDb portal named Ana de Armas as the leading actress of 2022. She topped the rating of the movie stars who showed themselves most clearly in the outgoing year. De Armas’ choice was influenced by the release of two hits on the Netflix streaming service: the Marilyn Monroe drama “Blonde” and the Russo brothers’ action film “The Gray Man.”
