G7 warns it won’t recognize ‘border change Russia tried to impose’ with invasion of Ukraine

Ministers of Foreign Affairs G7 warned this Saturday in a joint statement after their meeting in Berlin that they would never accept a border change imposed by force, as it is trying to Russia its aggression against Ukraine.

“We do not recognize the change in borders that Russia has tried to impose through aggression,” the statement said.

German minister Annalena Burbockreaffirmed this position at the final press conference of the meeting and said that “the change of borders that Russia wants to impose by war will never be recognized.”
