The BBC is filming the adaptation of Enid Blyton’s The Fab Five children’s detective book series into three 90-minute films. The project is directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, who directed Drive. Jack Gleason, known for his role as Joffrey Baratheon on Game of Thrones, appeared in the cast of the series. It is known that this work will be the artist’s first in almost ten years. NME writes about it.
BBC shared a frame from the filming of the project. It featured Gleason swapping out his trademark Lannister blonde hair for a darker color.
Remember, the BBC announced the launch of a drama series together with Netflix. The project is dedicated to the terrorist attack on flight PA103 over the Scottish city of Lockerbie.
