Pavel Priluchny, the male lead actor, came to the premiere of the New Year’s film “Firs and Needles” with his wife Zepyur Brutyan and their children – daughter Mia and son Timofey.
“Now there are too many problems, sometimes you just want to see a good movie,” he said, before the screening.

The tape is really fun and light. It has chases and adventures and, of course, a sudden burst of love. The main character, Katya, is a lonely Muscovite who works as a landscape designer. In Katya’s life there is nothing but work, and this worries her parents very much. Mom is determined to introduce her daughter to a worthy young man. Trying to avoid a meeting, the girl agrees to meet her neighbor’s uncle in Sheremetyevo, whom no one has ever seen. From this moment on, Katya’s difficulties are just beginning. She will take the wrong uncle, have an accident, she will meet her love, she will hide from bandits… And on New Year’s Eve she will not be alone at the Christmas tree!

We asked the protagonist, Alina Alekseeva, if miracles happened in her life on New Year’s Eve.
“I was in Paris on New Year’s Eve,” the actress said. – No money, no return ticket, no visa! Overall it was a disaster. I remember crossing the street at a red light and cutting off a car. The driver had to stop, I apologized with gestures and continued. This man caught up with me, he found me in a restaurant, where I literally asked for “a crust of bread and a glass of water.” And this man, as it turned out, is a telepath, he can read minds. I think, well, it’s understandable, now this Frenchman is hanging noodles on me. But no, he checked me out and said, “Guess your profession.” I guessed everything, then I worked as a screenwriter, I began to think about it. And then he tells me that he doesn’t understand anything. He says: “What are you thinking in Cyrillic?” And he ordered to switch to the Latin alphabet. I switched to English, and he immediately guessed everything! A couple of days later I helped him out on the show. He turned out to be a very famous person in Paris who helped the Cartier brand.

Garik Sukachev, who got the role of the mythical uncle, spoke about how he worked on the role without a text: “My character is practically Santa Claus, I have a very positive attitude towards him. He has no text at all. It is not an easy acting job. For 30 years I have never worked on that material. Here you can somehow dream, it’s really interesting.
