Art is, if not the most familiar, but a very important definition of diplomacy. And because diplomats must be able to skillfully negotiate and build international relations, and because one of its most successful forms is cultural diplomacy: the organization and sponsorship of exhibitions, festivals, concerts. And the diplomats themselves often have a direct relationship with various types of art: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is known to write poetry; the Ambassador of Azerbaijan in our country, Polad Bulbul oglu, singer and composer, who, by the way, has a doctorate in art history; many foreign diplomats accredited to the Russian Federation are engaged in brushwork in their free time.

The Russian Foreign Ministry decided that such talents should not be wasted. And together with the elder (dean) of the diplomatic corps, the ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Russia, he organized an exhibition of the creative work of the leaders and employees of foreign diplomatic missions working in the Russian capital.
