It states that the recommendation concerns at least six cities: Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, as well as Voronezh, Rostov and Krasnodar and their regions.
In the period from February 20 to 26 of this year, “the Russian government is planning a number of events, including the holidays of February 23 and 24,” the report says, in connection with which German citizens (including those with dual citizenship) are urged to be “especially vigilant and careful.”
The website of the German representation in Russia states that the recommendation to refrain from traveling to Russia has been in force for Germans since the end of February last year.
