Giambattista Valli Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2023 Collection

Giambattista Valli said the moodboard for his new collection included shots of Beverly Hills, hence the palette of sunny days and pink-orange skies at sunset. The designer came up with silver knotted dresses simply by imagining the girls stepping out of the pool and easily tying up elegant dresses, like a sarong. Some looks look like draped bathing suits with puff sleeves and a train skirt. Traditionally for Giambattista Valli, the collection has plenty of volume on the sleeves, bows, floral prints and embroidery, plus feathers (this time in blue). If the designer opens her shoulders, he covers her legs with a fluffy skirt in several layers of organza. If he spreads his legs, a voluminous satin cloak or a fitted jacket with ruffles falls on his shoulders.
