According to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic, admission for the 2023-2024 academic year is open. Kyrgyz will have the opportunity to study on a budget basis.
“Boys and girls who dream of becoming theater and film actors have a great opportunity to enter one of the best theater universities in the world,” emphasizes the department.
In particular, the GITIS Faculty of New Directions of Performing Arts opens its doors to the Kyrgyz people. The introductory round will take place in the republic in the spring. In March-April this year, a group of professors from a Russian university will come to Bishkek to select the 12 best boys and girls aged 17-21 who speak the Kyrgyz language. They will be able to obtain the specialty “Artist of Dramatic Theater and Cinema” in GITIS.
Another six young creatives from Kyrgyzstan, directors and production designers, will have the opportunity to receive a master’s degree from GITIS in their specializations.
