Givenchy has unveiled its new Spring/Summer 2023 advertising campaign, directed by creative director Matthew M. Williams. Jamaican musician Alkaline became his hero. Hypebeast writes about it.
In the photo shoot, Givenchy continues to explore his deep connection to music. The brand also wanted to inspire others to maintain his own identity, so Alkaline designed the looks himself according to the way he would dress in everyday life.
Alkaline tried on a camouflage print tracksuit, a biker jacket in a black and white palette with the brand’s logo, cargo pants, a jacket, a straight coat. The musician combines classic clothing with scarves, hats, a cap and futuristic glasses.
Earlier, Givenchy and Disney launched a new joint collection. Its release is dedicated to the centenary of the animation studio. Especially for the launch, a short film was presented, shot in collaboration with art director and photographer Julian Klintsevich.
