Of the food products, fruit and vegetable products are the ones that rise the most: carrots (+4%); onion (+3.9%); tomatoes (+3.7%); beets and cucumbers (+3.4%). Non-food items have gone up in price not so much. The largest price increases were for toothpastes (+0.8%) and toothbrushes (+0.4%); shampoos (+0.3%) and toilet soap (+0.2%). In November, the prices of buckwheat (-1.1%), sugar (-0.7%), rice (-0.3%) and wheat flour (-0.1%) fell.
The cumulative monthly average salary of employees of organizations in October 2022 amounted to 62,470 rubles and increased by 13.1% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
In November 2022, 2.7 million people were unemployed in Russia. At the same time, the unemployment rate fell to a record low of 3.7%. The previous low of 3.8% was reached in August 2022, in September unemployment rose to 3.9% and remained at this level for two months. 71.8% of the unemployed looked for work independently, 23.4% requested the employment service.
