Gucci, spring-summer 2025 men’s collection

Date: July 17, 2024 Time: 15:36:03

To show the spring-summer 2025 men’s collection, Sabato de Sarno chose the Milan Triennale building and, as a prologue, the phrase “The measure of love is love without measure” by Saint Augustine. She posted it not only on social media, but also in front of the entrance to the Trienalle.

In this collection, you can still feel Valentin de Sabato’s past and the desire to delve into all the trends of the past/present/future at once. The designer is definitely still in the process of finding himself and his “I” in Gucci, but for now we see a lot of color and a lot of body that is not hidden under this same color.

The show opened the look with a beautiful olive-colored leather coat, followed by several outfits with shorts (here we notice chokers – apparently made of fabric) and another similar coat, but in caramel peach color. We noticed the mesh polos and printed shirts, delicately greeting us under the leather jackets. The latter, by the way, come with contrasting colored collars, and let this be a warm greeting to Miuccia and Raf. By the way, the already mentioned shirts clearly resemble Hawaiian ones. Sabato took to the catwalk several looks in black in a row, mixing them with total white, apparently giving the day to maestro Piccioli. I liked the long mohair polo shirts (girls can wear them as dresses), the jackets in bright colors with bright fringes (and with a dolphin instead of a brooch). The bags were almost caramel-colored and the soft ballet flats were finished with double GG.
