The trailer for the animated series Velma, dedicated to one of the heroines of the Scooby-Doo franchise, has been released. Velma is scheduled to premiere on January 12 on HBO Max.
In the center of the plot is the story of one of the heroines of the franchise. According to the show’s creators, Velma is the “most overlooked and underrated brain of the Scooby-Doo gang.” The series will tell about her past.
The video shows Velma’s usual everyday life. They don’t always go according to plan. But what he always does well is solve mystical secrets. In addition to Velma, other characters from the Scooby-Doo franchise that we know of, Fred and Daphne, made an appearance in the trailer, but Scooby-Doo himself hasn’t yet.
The main role in the project will be played by Mindy Kaling, known from the TV series “The Office” and the movie “Ocean’s 8”. Also on the show will be Constance Wu, Sam Richardson, Glenn Howerton, Jane Lynch, Wanda Sykes, Russell Peters, Melissa Fumero. It is still unknown who will voice the characters in the Russian dubbing.
