Private Shamil Salmanov was called up as part of a partial mobilization. As a result of an enemy artillery salvo, communication lines were damaged. This caused a loss of communication between the motorized rifle assault units and the artillerymen supporting their offensive. Shamil, under fire, discovered a cable that had been broken by a shell explosion and quickly repaired the damage.
As soon as communication was restored, artillery teams destroyed the military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a large number of infantry.
