The aid of 200 euros for vulnerable families could be requested until March 31, 2023. The objective of this benefit is that people with a low level of income and little assets can face inflation, after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. The Treasury has fewer and fewer days to pay the income in the bank account of the beneficiaries.
The body managed by the Ministry of Finance and Public Function, led by María Jesús Montero, establishes that with the help of 200 euros, workers can access salaried, self-employed or unemployed with a low level of income and assets. The benefit was requested by 2.8 million people, according to official data, after it was approved with the anti-crisis decree that the Pedro Sánchez Executive carried out at the end of 2022.
Thus, to be entitled to the check, applicants must have an income of less than 27,000 euros per year, and assets of less than 75,000 euros, without taking into account the habitual residence. On the contrary, persons who receive the Minimum Vital Income or a pension, have a commercial company or are holders of securities representing the participation in own funds of a commercial company not traded in organized markets may not be beneficiaries.
Until when can I collect the aid of 200 euros?
Although it is likely that most taxpayers who applied for the 200-euro aid have already received the income, some people may still be waiting. And it is that the Treasury has until June 30, 2023 to execute the payment, so it only has a few days.
It should not be forgotten that the check is deposited by bank transfer to the account number provided by the taxpayer when making the request. The Government’s objective was for the Tax Agency to pay all the aid before the municipal and regional elections were held on May 28, but there may be cases that are still pending.
How do I know if I’m going to get the check?
Those who have not yet obtained the aid of 200 euros can check the status of the application: ‘Registration’ -they were sent correctly and is waiting to be accepted by the Tax Agency-, ‘Refund Agreement’ -Treasury will pay the amount of aid soon-, ‘OA’ -The Treasury has received and received it, but it is pending review, so it is not in the payment process- and ‘Baja’ -the form has not been filled out correctly-. If it is denied, the taxpayer must be notified and had ten days to file a claim in April, so he can no longer claim it.
This query can be made through the portal enabled by the Tax Agency at its electronic headquarters. Once accessed, you must go to the section ‘Consult submitted applications’ and enter the DNI and the date of validity to obtain the Cl@ve PIN, or the electronic certificate or digital DNI. Next, click on the option ‘Show requests in deregistration status’ to find out if it is processed or not.
If the check has been granted, it must not be forgotten that the beneficiaries do not have to pay taxes, although they must reflect the aid in the Income statement that they will make in the next financial year.
