Hezbollah has included the settlement of Beit Hillel in its attack programme and “fired dozens of Katyusha rockets at it for the first time,” RIA Novosti reports.
It is noted that the attack was carried out in response to the Israeli army’s bombardment of populated areas in southern Lebanon.
Earlier, the Times of Israel reported on a missile attack in northern Israel. According to it, a “flurry of missiles” was fired, many of which were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system.
According to Israeli TV channel Kan, around 30 rockets were fired. Lebanese TV channel Al Mayadeen reported that more than 50 rockets were involved in the attack.
