The victims in the trial were given fictitious names “Jane Doe number 1,2.3.4”, however two brave ladies declined anonymity: the wife of the Democratic governor of California, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, and actress Lauren Young.
The jury deliberated for nine days: eight men and four women. On the accusations of the first lady of California, actress Lauren Young and Jane Doe number three, the jury found Weinstein not guilty or found it impossible to pass sentence for lack of evidence.
